Woody Creek, CO | Unbuilt Concept w/ Studio B

An vast ranch site provides 360 degree views of the West Elk Mountains and Roaring Fork Valley. The floorplan of the primary residence is composed of two perpendicular volumes, one embedded into a natural bench in the landscape, while the other extends out of the ground. A low-slung guest pavilion, sited quietly in a meadow has been designed as a companion to the primary residence with similar architectural features. Wood and weathered metal finishes connect the architecture to the rusted tones of the surrounding landscape, while walls of glass open the interior spaces to the surrounding views. Served as project designer and lead visualization artist on the project while previously working with Studio B Architects.
