Boulder, CO | 2016 w/ Studio B

This small accessory structure located on Flagstaff Mountain provides spectacular panoramic views of Boulder, the eastern plains and the surrounding alpine landscape. A stone base built into the hillside anchors the building to the ground with a band of operable clerestory windows allowing natural daylight and ventilation into the lower workshop. The upper level is clad in blackened steel panels and wood slats to disguise the building from nearby hiking trails. Served as lead designer on the project while previously working at Studio B Architects.
