Conifer, CO | Unbuilt Concept

The design prompt for this mountain residence from our clients was for a low slung linear structure hidden within a forest setting. A muted composition of black pigmented concrete and a blackened siding define the exterior materials. A kinked floorplain floating over the sloped site is composed with glass walls on one side open the house to views of a forested ridge and sounds of a seasonal stream while solid walls provide privacy from neighbors on the other side.
